Hello everybody!
Welcome to our new website! It’s been a very exciting fall for us! A new office, working hard on current projects, pulling in new projects and working with our friends on Dust, a student submission to the 2012 IGF Student Competition! You can check it out here!
Dust was a project that was started while going through Michigan State University’s game design program. Starting from the project’s first breath we had plans to enter it into the IGF and we are very happy to say that we have submitted it! The project started as a game jam concept where I worked with our good friends Jon Moore (@JonManatee) and Chris Hicks with the simple hopes of playing around with the cloth that was included in the recently released Unity 3.0. That weekend we created our sand boat, and Dust was born in its simplest form. From there we worked on it as a five week in class project. The rest of the Adventure Club crew was on the team as was David Phillips, another artist that was in the program with us. Moving on once we realized this was much more than a class project, Jon wrangled the team together and added our amazing artist friend Marie Lazar and his composer friend Patrick O’Malley. We also brought on Dan Sosnowski and Alex Lockwood to add force to the programming squad. It’s been a great experience working with all of these people and we’re very excited about the product!
We’ve got ourselves on a tight schedule to keep this blog updated so make sure to check in weekly to see what’s up in our world!
